ΕΡΕΥΝΗΤΙΚΟ ΕΡΓΟ
Η ερευνητική δραστηριότητα του εργαστηρίου συνοψίζεται στα ακόλουθα θέματα:

  • Χρήση ανθρωπόμορφων ομοιωμάτων, υπολογιστικών τεχνικών Monte Carlo και δοσιμετρίας θερμοφωταύγειας για την ανάπτυξη μεθόδων υπολογισμού της ακτινικής επιβάρυνσης ασθενών που υπόκεινται σε ακτινοδιαγνωστικές εξετάσεις.

  • Ανάπτυξη τεχνικών υπολογισμού της ακτινικής επιβάρυνσης του ιατρικού και νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού που συμμετέχει στη διενέργεια ακτινοσκοπικά καθοδηγούμενων επεμβατικών τεχνικών.

  • Βελτιστοποίηση παραμέτρων έκθεσης σε:
         - ακτινογραφικές και ακτινοσκοπικές εξετάσεις
         - εξετάσεις υπολογιστικής τομογραφίας
