Research Activities
- Design and development of a Relational Database Management Software System applied for the radiology patient data (texts and images). [Radiology Information System / Picture Archive and Communications System (RIS/PACS)].
- Design and development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging post-processing software tools embedded on a RIS/PACS platform system environment.
- Design and development of Computerized Tomography Imaging post-processing software tools embedded on a RIS/PACS platform system environment.
- Design and development of specialized medical imaging post-processing software tools such as : (a) interactive 2D MultiPlanar Reformating, (b) virtual 3D rendering, (c) 3D space imaging measurement tools (lengths, surfaces, volumes, histograms, distributions), (d) Fusion techniques on Magnetic Resonance and Computerized Tomography imaging modalities (MR/CT fusion imaging), (e) Fractal analysis techniques in 2D and 3D regimes (2D, 3D Fractal imaging).
